Doula Description

As a birth doula, I bring a grounding, compassionate presence rooted in over a decade of experience supporting families and children. With a background in mental health and a wide range of experience including nannying, coaching, tutoring, and many summers as a camp counselor, I offer a calm, steady hand and a warm, encouraging spirit throughout your birth journey. Whether you need someone to help you discuss your options, advocate for your needs, or simply stay grounded with you in the moment, I’m here to encourage and empower you as you welcome your baby into the world and ensure you feel informed, heard, and supported at every stage.

Trained through Cornerstone Birthworkers with a strong emphasis on justice and advocacy, I welcome and celebrate the full range of identities and experiences folks bring into pregnancy and birth. I have a particularly special place in my heart for fellow members of the LGBTQIA+ community. Whatever form your family may take, I look forward to offering you compassionate, down-to-earth, practical, and emotional support.

Outside of serving as a doula, you’ll find me exploring new neighborhoods with my fiancé, cuddling my two cats (Alan and Eugene Levy), walking or reading near any and every body of water, or getting lost in a new collage project.

Your Instincts Over Algorithms

Someone in your corner. Someone who knows how to say, “You’re doing great,” and mean it. Someone who can remind you that this isn’t a test, and there is no single right way. The internet has information. A doula offers connection. And in a season as vulnerable and transformative as birth and new parenthood, connection is everything. So, yes, keep using your tools, but don’t forget: the most reliable source of wisdom is that it’s you. Let’s help you remember that.
